I think Excel will be useful tool when conducting grading and lesson plans. Since this educational tool has small boxes it has the ability to fit everyones name and complete math equations if asked to do so. Because of this it makes keep everyone grades in check because it will automatically calculate their final score. This tool would be most helpful probably in younger grades because you have more students and you teach a wide range of subjects, so this has the ability to keep you organized. What I found most interesting in my classmates blogs were that a lot of us, though we have the same major, have very different views on how education and educational tools should run. I thought this was pretty cool because it shows the diversity we have just within our own classroom. This new idea of a flipped classroom is taking the world by storm. A flipped classroom is when the teacher assigns at home lecture videos to watch and learn and then the students do an activity about the video/lecture the next day in class. I really like this idea if it is executed properly. If the students do not watch the video at home this causes all kinds of problems because then they will not understand the activity the next day, and I also think it defeats the purpose of face to face teaching.  Link: https://www.khanacademy.org This idea of open education and open content is something I really enjoy. Adaptive technologies are put into place to help students with disabilities whether they be physically or mentally. These technologies help them by being able to fitting into a regular classroom setting. These kinds of technologies are helping kids everywhere succeed and give individual feedback to teachers allowing them to construct their lessons plan according to the feedback they get back. The challenges I predict with using adaptive technology is that when receiving the feedback many of the students results could be scattered, where some could know everything and some of the students not understand at all. For my individual learning project I chose to participate in a educational twitter chat. Because of my newly found interest of Twitter from our assigned Twitter account I have learned to really like this application. I really liked participating in a twitter chat, because this application is so new to me this was my first time doing so. I find it extremely interesting that I was able to chat with so many people who are all different places in real time. In this chat I discussed the benefits of social learning. Social learning is learning that is done through example, or imitation. I believe that this type of learning style is extremely helpful, especially for me. Growing up I also needed extra help but once I was shown how to do it I could understand. This is a huge benefit in the classroom to have other students help other students.  This type of learning is suppose to be best for students because this allows them to recreate the action into their memories.

This is my first time using twitter so I was a little confused on how it worked at first. Once I was able to figure how it worked I really enjoyed using it. I can see hoe easy it is to share information and post questions that you may have for people to answer. It was really cool to me that I could communicate with someone across the country or even the world about issues with our educational system and how easy it truly was. This could be a really awesome educational tool if used correctly! I really enjoyed working on my web page design! This was really fun for me and I can see myself doing the exact same thing when I am a teacher! The website I chose to visit was https://www.fsus.school/Domain/40 . This website was part of a third grade class at FSUS. After clicking on a particular teachers name I got the choice to visit her personal classroom website. This site brought me to a cute homepage where she had a welcome page. This welcome page was decorated with a picture of little monsters in the spirit of Halloween. From the homepage there was a side bar with different options of things to see, from about the teacher to the homework packets from each week. She has everything organized which allowed me to use her site with ease. Below is a screenshot of her home page! I can totally see myself suing a website like this for when I become a teacher.
